“Andrea has been a tremendous support in helping me reconnect with myself, realign my priorities and to achieve my goals in life. Andrea helped me build a strong social network, improve my communication, gain confidence and have the right career development conversations at work.
As a result, I am moving into a new role at work that aligns with my career aspirations. I highly recommend Andrea for anyone looking for impactful coaching; she is truly exceptional.”
"My favourite session was the achievement story exercise. This was a breakthrough.
After this exercise, I gained confidence knowing what my strengths and skills are and knowing that I have demonstrated them in specific challenges I’ve encountered. This session made it easy for me to draft my career summary for my resume and know what to highlight.
Thank you Andrea! I'm bringing all those learnings with me as I start my new role."
“Andrea was exactly what I needed from a mentor and coach at a time when I was completing an MBA, while working full-time, with a baby on the way and while under lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Toward the end of our coaching time together, I was successful in securing a new job. Some months into the new role now and am receiving great feedback. I attribute this directly to my coaching sessions with Andrea.
If you’re looking for a coach or mentor, I can’t think of anyone I’d recommend more highly.”
“The most valuable part that we worked on was defining the quality. I decided years ago that being creative is just the artist version, like being a painter. I work with numbers and, you know, having my whole world lined up doesn't give room for creativity.
At first there was a blank. I could not see myself as creative. And as we talked around the definition and we landed on me and spreadsheets, deciding how data is going to be presented to the business and I’m thinking, how can I do this in a different way?
It dawned on me that this is being creative. I've been creative in my work many times. And in other areas of my life, like my home and parties and balancing my schedule with a new grandchild -- there's a lot of stuff going on.
This simple widening of my perspective has been a huge gift. I'm really grateful for all the work we did.”
"I feel a lot more relaxed, in day-to-day life; probably because if something comes up, I just automatically go more to the positive side of what’s happened.
So, if I'm feeling a bit shy, I remember, I can do that and it sort of instantly comes to mind now.
I think working on the quality of Independent was a big one, because I don't feel like I'm seeking other people's approval as much.
It's now easier and quicker for me to make decisions and just go and do things instead of flip flopping and worrying about whether I should do it or getting somebody else's opinion. That’s given me peace of mind."
"Now regardless of what's happening, I feel like I'm in the driver's seat. I can't control the circumstances, but I can decide how I'm going to show up, what my actions are going to be. And even if I wait before deciding, that's still my actions.
I think I’ve moved away from being reactive to being active, you know?
So that was like a real change, a lot of change in that way.
I developed more of a sense of calm about things. Being able to be more who I am, has opened up my ability to also allow people to be who they are.
I'd also say getting clarity was a very big deal. Being decisive was also a very big deal. I like the idea of seeing my future self being different. And I like aligning myself to that future self that I now see."
